Auxiliary Steam Packet Bark Edith

Showing the ship under full sail using tall topmasts designed by Robert B. Forbes to allow an auxiliary steamer to carry a full set of sails. She also had a propeller designed by John Ericsson that was pivoted sidewise and hoisted out of the water while under sail.
