USCGC Duane (AGC-6/WAGC-33)

Photographed by the Norfolk Navy Yard on 6 March 1944 upon completion of her AGC conversion. The yard inscribed the photos in this series "W-33," indicating the ship had reverted to her Coast Guard hull number, but she is still wearing the number "6" (for AGC-6) briefly assigned by the Navy.
