Near the Philadelphia Navy Yard on 21 August 1941 two months after completion.

USS Jason (ARH-1)

Underway during the 1950s while still classified as the Navy's only heavy hull repair ship (ARH).
Her appearance was essentially identical to that of her repair ship (AR) sisters.
