S.S. Rhode Island, later Woonsocket (Yard no. 2)

At her builder's fitting out pier on 6 October 1917. She was delivered to the EFC and repurchased by the Texas Oil Co. on 1 December 1917.

At her builder's fitting out pier on 15 November 1917. A worker appears to be applying the name Rhode Island on the stern.

Two ships, each 9970 tons dwt., building for Texas Oil Co.

S.S. Sagadahoc, ex Bath (Yard no. 3)

At the Texas Steamship Co. shipyard. She was delivered to the EFC, repurchased by the Texas Oil Co., and commissioned in the Navy on 9 July 1918. She was decommissioned on 18 August 1919. There is a small chance that this is Canibas. See her WWI page.

S.S. Canibas, ex New Jersey (Yard no. 4)

At the Texas Steamship Co. shipyard on 12 September 1918. She was delivered to the EFC, repurchased by the Texas Oil Co., and commissioned in the Navy on 10 September 1918. She was decommissioned on 4 June 1919. See her WWI page.

S.S. Lightburne (Yard no. 12)

This photo is from the back of the ship's Navy inspection data card and may date from the time of the inspection, which occurred on 25 August 1919. She was delivered on 30 August 1919.

Photographed during World War II with some gun emplacements empty. She had been delivered to the EFC and repurchased by the Texas Oil Co. on 22 February 1919. She was renamed Idaho in 1940.

Entering a U.S. port on 22 October 1942. She had been delivered to the EFC and repurchased by the Texas Oil Co. on 10 November 1919. She was renamed Arkansas in 1940.

Entering a U.S. port on 13 October 1942. She had been laid down in January 1920 and completed in October 1920. She was renamed Mississippi in 1940.
