After the last text page this book contains 75 foldout illustrations, all but one of which are plans of ships. These show two of the former German passenger ships then owned by the Shipping Board and 72 of the designs to which the Shipping Board built ships during the war. The scans of these plans are large jpeg files and are displayed at the width of a monitor. You will probably have to scroll down to see the lower portion of each plan. To enlarge the details it is suggested that you download the plan.
EFC design numbers were not in this publication and have been supplied from other official sources. The legends were originally part of the profile plans but have been separated for viewing convenience. These copies were made from the original publication. Lines, especially frame lines around the plans, were not always straight in the original plans. The foldout portions of Plans 01, 02, 04, 07, 19, 22, 23, 29, 32, 36, and 54 had separated because of age and wear, these plans have been reassembled digitally. Of these about half have minor damage at the former fold.
