Shown during her ferry voyage down the Ohio and Mississippi rivers from Jeffersonville, Indiana, to New Orleans.
A similar photo was taken when she departed her builder's yard at Jeffersonville on 19 July 1945. She arrived at New Orleans on 28 July. Of the five boats visible, two are in davits and the other three are probably served by the large rotating crane, the long boom of which is clearly visible.
