USAT Ingalls This small passenger-cargo vessel is shown during her Army service between 1898 and 1910. Note the Army Transportation Service flag on the mainmast. Ingalls was transferred to the Navy in 1910 for conversion into a submarine tender and was renamed Yosemite, but she was in commission for only two months and was then sold back into commercial service.
