    The original photo is printed on "AZO" post card stock.

    USS Matsonia

    Hoisting a six-inch gun for the ship, either when she was being prepared for Navy service in early 1918 or while being disarmed in early 1919.
    Note the old wooden crane being used to lift the gun.
    The original photograph was printed on post card ("AZO") stock. It appears to have been one of a series of views that also included Photo #s NH 105969 and NH 107083.
